Last month, one of our bloggers mentioned the idea of taking a little blogging tour through the StoryPeople Studio to see what’s going on. However, since that idea was hatched, we’ve released our new Simple & True Treasure Boxes AND our new Pewter Charms. (Notice I typed “AND” instead of using “&”. Nobody around here does that, by the way. I’m thinking about spelling out the word “and” more often so my StoryPeople colleagues will think I’ve gone off my rocker. Seriously. That’s how it is around here.)
So here we are with these two new products and we’re gearing up for Mother’s Day & Graduation Season and we’re rushing around taking measurements and making phone calls cuz all this new stuff is a different size than the old stuff (Oh, yeah. Speaking of different size, that was another thing we did in there. Made all the prints available as 7 x 9′s.) & we realize we’ve got to get all kinds of different sizes of packages and shipping materials and then the weather’s finally starting to get nice and Arne comes in saying we got to go out to the shed near Bluffton and haul back a big load of wood for the woodshop of all things!
So I was just standing here catching my breath and taking a drink of water a minute ago and I noticed the view from where I was standing and I saw all those new Treasure Boxes with their base-coats of paint sitting there drying, the yellow and purple in front and the blue ones further back with the wonderfully colorful Tea Trays hanging up above and it came all in a flash. That’s it. There it is. The view from where I sit at StoryPeople. There’s your tour… at least for now.
